Information about the event:

Problems are tackled on an emotional, cognitive and behavioural level, with the application of numerous techniques from different therapies. With the help of numerous imaginative, emotional, cognitive and behavioural techniques, the therapist teaches the patient how to ref- ence the model of the healthy adult and to give it more space in order to find adaptive ways of satisfying his or her deepest needs.

The classroom training will have a strongly practical-experiential character, numerous videos will be shown and role playing exercises will be carried out.

At the end of the inaula training, in order to obtain international recognition as a therapist for Schema Therapy, it is possible to carry out the 20 hours of internal Supervision with a certified therapist, plus 5 hours of video evaluation, 4 of which by an internal Supervisor and 1 by an external Supervisor. Supervisions are to be paid separately from the Training enrolment fee.

  • Supervision may be on a fortnightly basis (recommended to conclude the training within a year of its commencement) or, in agreement with the supervisor, on a maximum monthly basis;
  • Each trainee has to produce 1 or more audio/video re lated to therapeutic sessions in which they use Schema Therapy;
  • Each trainee is required to transcribe 1 video/audio to be viewed by an external supervisor.

The training o re highly specialised training and skills in order to be able to work as recognised Schema Therapy Therapists by the International Society for Schema Therapy ISST.
