Information about the event:

Attachment, simple and complex traumas all have a profound impact not only on the brain but also on the development of an individual’s personality. In recent years, there has been a growing consensus within the scientific and therapeutic communities about the relationship between attachment, trauma, personality development, and pathology. Major advances in various forms of therapy have proved their overwhelming efficiency in the treatment of attachment disorders and trauma. Encouragingly, there is an increasing number of studies dedicated to evaluating the most important and effective aspects of both trauma therapies and the treatment of personality disorders, thus shedding more and more light on this important and fascinating subject. In May 2018, a panel of world-leading experts will gather in London to share their vast knowledge about attachment, trauma, and personality development. After the first unforgettable conference in May 2017, this congress promises to be an extraordinary event in the fields of psychology and psychotherapy on an international scale. The conference will consist of 11 presentations over 3 days as well as daily panel discussions in which participants are encouraged to bring their questions to the experts, allowing informative and fascinating conversations to take place. The conference will be held at the QEII Centre in Westminster, London SW1P 3EE.
